Lipolysis Acupuncture vs. One policy at a time

This is a "lypolysis acupuncture" that is really big in Korean community. I am 5'3'' and I weigh 115 lbs., but seeing all my friends being so much thinner than I am, I am guilty to admit that I have visited one of the oriental medicine clinics to get the needle injection (bruises shown in the picture) and acupuncture in hope of getting rid of my...muffin top. This was a year ago in Korea.

I ended up coming to Georgia with the same height and weight, but I have been hearing, "You tiny thang," or "You are so tiny," all the time. Back in my country, I am not tiny. Covering the local news story on obesity, I have reached out to the many professionals, parents of obese children, and acupuncturists in Georgia, In the midst of finding an angle, I have learned that America is a healthy country although filling quickly with overweight youth and adults, because many different leaders like Alliance for a Healthier Generation are building solid foundations to make changes. Instead of seeing lypolysis plastic surgery clinics and acupuncture clinics in every other block of the streets like in Seoul, Korea, I am reading and interviewing about people who are collaborating with schools, insurance company, and employers to reduce obesity rates.

My support goes to www.healtheirgeneration.org.

  1. Enjoyed reading about your foray into Georgia weight loss. It does look like it hurts, but then, maybe it doesn't.
