If you read this story, and most important, if you read the discussion that´s held in the comments, you can notice that some stories have consequences, they make the reader uncomfortable, or happy, or angry. But they have an effect. They are a tool for people to understand the reality. And maybe, also want to change it. Are journalists supposed to write stories that have consequences or just inform accurately?

ReplyDeleteSorry, typo, reposted--not other changes. I thought this was a fair-minded report. The reporter could have explored a deeper issue of greater integration into Israeli society.
